Three key approaches







This is a presentation I made, based around the three key approaches to media; media organisations, meaning and representation and ethical issues. I chose to base my presentation around a music video (Miley Cyrus - We can't stop) as i thought it would be a great example to use, to show these approaches. In this presentation, I think I explained and gave examples of the three key approaches well; showing different points of view, rather than just one.

    A proficient and clearly presented introduction to the three key approaches to Media, Ellie. Well done on your first piece of submitted work! You demonstrate a good use of visual examples to elucidate your key points. You are also very good at illustrating and expanding upon key points, such as how the music video could be considered too graphic and controversial.
    Targets: it is often helpful to annotate images used to show exactly how your examples link to points made.
