Production Diary

Week 8

This week I have managed to take my pictures for my magazine, however due to technical difficulties with my camera I haven't been able to post these yet. Hopefully I will get them up onto my blog over the weekend.
I have also been focusing on magazine analysis again this week, to ensure I am ready to start my production of my magazine. I find the magazine analysis very helpful as it makes me look into meanings of the use of images and text; rather than just seeing an image; I am able to look at the hidden meaning behind the use of the magazine features.
I have also completed and uploaded my content page analysis and comparison; this as well helped me with detail and allowed me to see how different types of music genres can change the concept and perception of a magazine and the type of magazine features used. When looking at music magazine contents page and magazine's as a whole, I noticed that the majority of them use promotional features and advertise their magazine in an issue of their magazine, as well as showing different way you can read it, such as subscribing.

Hopefully in the next week, I am able to upload my pictures and start creating a mood board, which will help me through my production of my magazine.
